Cancellations

Recognizing that time is valuable both for our staff and our customers, we want to maximize our salon’s use of appointments. In order to ensure that appointments are fully utilized, we commit to making them available for our customers as readily as possible. We do need our customers’ assistance to do that, however.

To avoid vacancies in appointment slots, we will hold to the following cancellation policy.

  • When scheduling new client services of one hour or more, or for large parties (3 people or more), a valid credit card or gift certificate will be required in advance for the full amount of services.
  • Appointment confirmation reminders will be sent via text message (SMS) or email, three business days prior to the appointment.
  • Any cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total amount for services scheduled.
  • All clients will be afforded one chance, without the 50% penalty charge, for a rescheduled appointment with less than 24-hour notice.  A note will be added to the client’s file and any future cancellations violating the policy will be subject to the penalty charge as above.
  • Clients with repeat cancellations or no-shows will subsequently be required to provide an advance deposit by credit card or gift certificate for the full amount of services for all future appointments.
  • Late arrivals for appointments may result in shortened services or a forfeited appointment depending on availability.
